Joan McCourt – Joan, whose primary experience is in the field of management and organization development, founded McCourt Associates, a Wilson Learning Worldwide business partner, 21 years ago. Joan’s experience is as a sales executive and business consultant. Prior to starting McCourt, she was a Vice President of Sales with Wilson Learning and a Vice President and General Manager of North American Operations for Kepner-Tregoe, both worldwide leaders in training and development. Her organization has consistently been one of Wilson Learning’s top performing, award winning partners for over 2 decades. She has been featured twice in Working Women magazine for her business accomplishments.
Bob Davis – Capping his own successful sales career, Bob works as a senior consultant for McCourt Associates. In that role as an account executive, Bob has been awarded the Wilson Learning “PaceSetter Award” for meeting established sales goals for 19 consecutive years. Working with sales professionals in a variety of industries, Bob has helped companies achieve greater success by shortening their sales cycle and increasing their close ratios. Bob has also been a guest speaker at Harvard & Boston University Graduate School of Business Management. Cyndi Walsh – Cyndi has been with McCourt almost since its inception. Her passion and experience have focused on coaching individuals to be as authentic and effective in front of a group as they are in one-to-one communication. In addition to her expertise in presentation skills, Cyndi is an accomplished salesperson and coach, integrating return on investment studies with all of her client work. She is at her best assisting sales teams to create and effectively deliver high impact, customer focused presentations. Maria Wardwell – Maria is a high energy, results oriented professional with 28 years of progressive accomplishments. Prior to joining McCourt, Maria spent 15 years in the banking industry in a variety of management and individual contributor roles. Maria has extensive experience in leadership development, performance management, change management, building team effectiveness and workflow redesign. Maria shares her leadership expertise with many McCourt clients. She brings a clear understanding of group dynamics and expertise in interpersonal communications to the classroom.
Jerry Comeau – Prior to joining McCourt, Jerry had a hugely successful career in sales and sales management in the financial services industry. He was recognized by Traveler’s Insurance as achieving the most quotas in the company’s history, including both sales quotas and leadership objectives. Jerry specializes in working with his clients around interpersonal communication and versatility skills. He focuses passionately on his clients by adding personal coaching and consulting to his work.
Steve Rezac – Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Steve is an innovative entrepreneur and training expert who is recognized in helping business owners and CEOs achieve their top business goals. Steve has over 21 years of senior level experience in sales, business development and global sales training. He is a pioneer in implementing learning systems that include pre-work, classroom training, action planning and interactive follow-up built into each intervention. Laura Sciepko – Based in Charlotte, N.C., Laura brings a strong track record of results in the health care industry, prior to joining McCourt Associates. Laura offers her clients expertise in sales, sales management and key account management. Kathy Ropa – Based at our corporate headquarters in Westport, Ct., Kathy has been with McCourt for over 16 years. As Director of Sales and Customer Operations, Kathy is a familiar voice to most McCourt clients. She is the ultimate problem-solver, involved in all facets of the business and able to answer even the most difficult questions. In addition to being our primary interface with our customers, Kathy also manages the public seminar business.
Lisa Witthoeft – Another familiar voice to our clients, based in Westport, Connecticut, Lisa joined McCourt shortly after the company was founded. As Comptroller for the company, Lisa is responsible for managing all financial operations. Unlike many folks with strong analytical skills, Lisa has a huge creative side, being an accomplished designer of innovative jewelry and accessories.
